Service Description

These specialist independent potter sessions are for those seeking further support and guidance in throwing. The sessions will have a particular focus (see below) although learners can work independently if they choose: 31/1 - Back to Basics - Centering and Coning 14/2 - Perfecting the Cylinder 28/2 - Repetitive Throwing 21/3 - Handles 28/3 - Throwing Larger - min 1.5kg 25/4 - Porcelain - (workshop priced separately) 9/5 - Back to Basics - Centering and Coning 16/5 - Perfecting the Cylinder 30/5 - Repetitive Throwing 13/6 - Handles 20/6 - Throwing Larger - min 1.5kg Each session lasts 3 hours and is charged at £30 (porcelain workshop charger separately). The cost includes all equipment and materials. We offer three types of clay. White Stoneware, buff earthenware/stoneware and Earthenware Terracotta. Bisque firing is included, an additional charge is added for glaze firing. There is no requirement to attend all the sessions. We offer a loyalty card with this service; after 6 booked sessions the 7th is free.
