About us...

Liz...

Holds a BA and MA in Art and Design and a PGCE in Post Compulsory Education.  

During Liz's degrees she specialised in the materials and techniques of blown glass, ceramics and printmaking. 

Liz has been teaching in the FE and HE sector for over 12 years. In this time she has taught on a variety of art and design courses at various institutions, including The City and Guilds of London Art School, The Interactive Design Institute and Bristol School of Art.  

Liz has a great interest in the use of craft as an art and design practice. Combining old and new techniques to explore different subject matter, creating experimental and interesting work.

Jenny...

Jenny is a skilled seamstress, designing and making her own clothes. Besides from textiles Jenny has a love for all things crafty and creative - paper cutting, crochet, cooking and of course ceramics. Jenny is a self-described connoisseur of baked goods and knows the delight of drinking coffee from a perfectly made mug (it genuinely tastes better!)

Jenny moved to South Bristol after living in the USA for five years bringing her husband and very opinionated cat with her. Jenny holds a BSc in Chemistry and has previously worked in management roles for international companies.

Liz and Jenny have both been full-time mums for the past six years, meeting many years ago during the dreaded school run. Liz and Jenny have formed a close friendship over the past few years. Largely based on cake, coffee/prosecco and of course ART!
