Service Description

During this 3 hour workshop, you will be working with experienced ceramicist Brian Chan to design and create your very own teapot. Using traditional hand building techniques; you will master the art of pinching clay to build individual teapot elements, and then assemble these together. Once your teapot is completed you will then be able to use colour to decorate your final teapot ready for bisque firing. After the session your work will slowly dry and then have its first firing. Your teapot will then be glazed in a transparent overglaze and then fired again. This process can take up to 5 – 6 weeks. All materials, firings, tea, coffee and biscuits are included in the price.
